Core Technical Brief

CAD Stone Works fabricated and installed a natural stone program across one of the largest private residences in Bel Air, Los Angeles, a house on the order of one hundred thousand square feet. A project at this scale turns stone into a logistics and precision problem before it is an aesthetic one. Thousands of square feet of slab material were planned, calibrated, and cut to tight tolerance across the interior and exterior. Materials included Exotic Volakas marble, Nero Marquina, and Statuario marble. Architecture by Paul McClean. Development by Skyline Development, Inc.

I. Concierge Sourcing & Procurement

For this exclusive estate in Bel Air, the design program demanded a highly specific material matrix. Leveraging our established trade partnerships and elite local B2B importer network across Los Angeles, we sourced premium slabs matching the architect's exact color balance, structural density, and veining direction.

By procuring the stone directly through our commercial accounts, we seamlessly handled the purchase, passed on significant B2B trade advantages to the client, and coordinated the logistics directly to our state-of-the-art Los Angeles fabrication shop.

II. Technical Vetting & Precision Fabrication

Before cutting commenced, our lead fabricators personally visited the supplier's yard to inspect the slabs. We mapped the veining, checked for natural micro-fissures, and verified that slab thickness was uniform to the millimeter. This vetting process ensures that when we purchase the stone on behalf of our client, we are securing a structurally flawless canvas.

Mass-scale stone orchestration across a 105,000-square-foot residential compound. Precision leveling and structural execution for a multi-tier exterior modern water moat, negative-edge overflow swimming pools, and subterranean nightclub solid-slab bars. High-durability execution for a 10,000-square-foot open-air sky deck paver assembly and a 5,500-square-foot primary bedroom suite transition zone.

III. Logistics & Architectural Installation

Transporting heavy, high-precision stone elements up the narrow, winding roads of Bel Air presents unique logistical challenges. We coordinated complex transport and specialized rigging, aligning our delivery schedule perfectly with the general contractor to ensure seamless on-site integration.

The final installation was executed with extreme precision, utilizing specialized epoxy-based setting mortars and advanced decoupling systems where necessary, leaving a pristine, structurally reinforced architectural masterpiece that perfectly honors the design intent.
