Material Sourcing

LOS ANGELES PARTNER SLAB YARDS IN PERSON SELECTION

We source through established partner slab yards across Los Angeles. A dedicated material specialist meets the architect, designer, or client at the yard and walks the inventory with them before any slab is tagged.

Working from local inventory means the person specifying the stone stands in front of the actual slab, not a photograph of a bundle.

04

Installation

INTERIOR + EXTERIOR SLAB AND TILE

Full height slab walls, fireplace surrounds, stone clad baths, flooring, exterior surfaces, and pool decks.

05

Exterior and Coastal

SALT AIR EXPOSURE ISO 10545-14 CLASS 5 SEALER BY SUBSTRATE

We select dense, low porosity material for exterior and salt air exposure, then match the sealer to the stone rather than applying one product across the job.

Substrate Specified Sealer Why
Dense stone Marble, quartzite, granite
STAIN-PROOF Premium Impregnating Sealer (formerly Dry-Treat STAIN-PROOF Original)

Bonds below the surface instead of forming a film, so the stone stays breathable and vapor escapes. Tests to ISO 10545-14 Class 5, the highest stain resistance classification.

Soft stone on coastal exposure Limestone, travertine, sandstone
STAIN-PROOF 40SK Consolidator & Water Repellent

Salt spalling breaks down soft stone from within the pore structure. These substrates need consolidation, not just repellency. A standard impregnator does not address it.

No sealer makes stone impervious. Marble and limestone still etch on acid contact regardless of treatment. We specify a maintenance protocol at handoff and tell clients plainly what the sealer does and does not do.

Send plans. We will tell you what the stone requires.

From your initial plan upload to the final walkthrough, our team maintains complete control over quality and schedule.
